artist, six week exhibition.

After her selection by Green Street,
Taylor was awarded the ICA Artist's prize.
Davis' work is generally constructed
out of meticulously joined pine and plywood. These simple materials
are so rigorously composed and elegantly handled and scaled that
they transform pens and troughs drawn from the rural farm of the
artist's youth into surprisingly formal arrangements. Every juncture
is carefully composed and compels the viewer to other vantage
points and details in and around the work. Taylor walls off, fences
in and then bounces the viewer out of her newest work in unexpected
ways.
